Whether you need to replace damaged or missing slides or are installing them new for the first time, the R 7212 Drawer Slide Kit fits most bottom/side-mounted drawer systems and is for use in 16 inch deep drawer cabinets. These bottom mount drawer slides can be installed in drawer cabinets with face frames and without. The drawer slide kit is constructed of steel tracks with a white powder coated finish, self-lubricating plastic rollers and a self-closing design that commences at the final 2-1/2 inch from the end of the 19-3/4 inch long tracks when closing. With a maximum load capacity of 75 lbs., the drawer slide set is sturdy and can hold up to years of repeated use. It features a positive stop in the closed position and a double stop in the extended position that locks your drawer open, so it cannot be pulled too far out and fall off the tracks. Installation Tip: The clearance required between the drawer and the drawer opening for these slides is: 1/2 Inchon left and right sides, 1/4 inch at the bottom and 5/8 inch at the top. Note: This kit cannot be cut down to fit smaller drawer depths as it is designed with a positive stop at the ends of the fixed tracks, and because the rear rollers (11/16 inch diameter wheels) on the sliding tracks are fastened to the ends of the drawer-mounted track pieces.
